CII Institute of Quality organized this third Certificate Course on "Psychometrics for HR and OD" for understanding the psychological make up of human beings which has been of great interest for a long time. This understanding in the context of organizational employees is important not because it is 'good to know'; it is actually crucial for taking a variety of employee-related decisions. In fact, there exists a strong belief that it is better to have an employee who lesser skilled and more positively oriented than one who is an expert with poor attitude.

Psychometrics - the field of study that is concerned with the measurement of psychological variables - helps us to understand psychological characteristics in a scientific manner.
