9th Annual Conclave for Executive Secretaries 23 - 25 June, Bangalore CII Institute of Quality held this Annual Conclave where around 60 participants attended the programme from 40 different companies. The keynote address was given by Mr Vishal Bali CEO, Wockhardt Hospitals Group. The Conclave was well received among the participants. The objective of this annual conclave was to enhance managerial skills to cope up work pressures in ever changing business environment. 
Education Excellence in TQM for Schools 5-6 June, Amritsar Dr. A. Senthil kumaran - Senior Counsellor and Ms. S. Sayeelakshmi - Counsellor of CII Institute of Quality Bangalore. conducted this awareness program on Total Quality Management at Springdale Senior Secondary School, Amristar. About 30 Teachers and Heads of Primary and High School attended the program. Enhancing Productivity And Quality Thru 3M & 5S 24 - 25 June, Pune This 2-day Interactive Workshop, attended by 20 participants, helped them to understand the relevance of these techniques for their organizations, and contribute towards improving bottom line business performance by focusing on practical issues in the workplace/shop floor. Strategic Business Planning 5 - 6 June, Bangalore Strategic planning, has become very important to business managers because technology and competition have made the business environment less stable and less predictable. This intervention will focus on a methodology to develop a long-range plan (3 years) for an organization or business unit. The long-range plan output is a Vision with a statement of purpose, set of objectives (Mission) and strategies that must be pursued. The key steps involved viz. The Statement of Purpose, Five Year Objectives, Customers, Competition, Ideal Solution, Financial Analysis, External Problem Analysis, and Interdependencies etc. were covered in the programme.15 participants from Manufacturing and Service industries attended. |
