CII Institute of quality organized a three-day workshop on "Performance Measurement: Evidence Based Healthcare Management" from 27 Aug to 29 Aug at Banglore. The theme was decided keeping in mind the potential of Indian healthcare developing into a major industry in the global market. India would not be able to stand up to world standards unless there is focus on regulation and processes, which is woefully inadequate at present and there is a need for implementation of quality measures and performance measurement tool in the health industry.
Three-day workshop was designed as an interactive platform involving various group exercises and presentation to give an in-depth understanding of the topic. 14 delegates from 8 different hospitals and healthcare organisations including senior personnel from Columbia Asia, Manipal Health Systems, Max Health Care, Grant Medical Foundation, Trichur Heart Hospital, RPM Alliance, Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Chest Disease and Yelemma Dasappa Hospital attended the workshop. ![]() From Left: Ms. Ala Sankaran and Rear Admiral Dr. V.
