Confederation of Indian Industry - Institute of Quality is organizing its annual "NATIONAL SUMMIT ON QUALITY IN EDUCATION" at Bangalore on the 26-27 September 2008. The theme for this year's summit is "Quality Leadership for Future Campuses".

The summit theme emphasizes the need for institutional leadership to look around for practices to serve their key stakeholders viz students, educators, parents, industry and society as a whole. In today's dynamic environment they need to act beyond their campuses by understanding their stakeholder needs, set direction and create institutional culture by developing and implementing policies & strategies, reviewing and measuring the institutions performance and plan for improvements continually.

Concurrent sessions for School and Higher education:

The summit is structured to cater to the needs of both school education and higher education (technical, management & general degree colleges). The summit has a good mix of speakers from India and abroad from government agencies, non-governmental agencies, educational institutions, corporate and service providers who shall share their successes and concerns on working in the field of quality in education.

The summit will create an opportunity for dialogue among the institutional leaders for sharing their vision, strategy, innovations, successes, challenges and concerns which will enrich their knowledge and perspective for an effective and sustainable leadership.

Speakers will share their experiences on the following topics:

• The Technology lever, approaches to leadership and a tutorial on Education excellence frameworks.

The summit will culminate with a panel discussion on "Quality Leadership for Future Campuses in India: Road Ahead".
