Both the programme which were conducted by Dr Indrani Ghose, Senior Counsellor, CII Institute of Quality aimed at providing food safety professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to conduct an Internal Audit based on ISO 19011(the principles of quality system auditing) and dealt with the audit of ISO 22000 requirements on Food Safety Management System covering HACCP, GHP & GMP. The delegates gained an understanding of the clauses and were provided with the auditing skills and techniques including audit planning, executing & reporting audit findings through syndicate exercises and lecture sessions. 23 participants from 11 organisations hailing from different food processing industries and hotels participated.
Workshop on New Product Development - A Strategic Approach

The course aimed to bring forward the integration of all aspects of the development process from the voice of the customer to design, manufacturing, delivery and launch. The programme covered market entry and positioning strategies and advanced quality planning processes covering techniques like QFD, FMEA, and Control Plan etc and was highly beneficial for individuals responsible for the APQP process in their organization as well as those directly involved in maintaining a QS 9000 or ISO/ TS 16949 Quality Management System. The programme was conducted by Mr S K Dutta and was attended by 19 participants from11 organisations from different manufacturing companies.
Education Excellence In Total Quality Management for Schools

Dr. A Senthil Kumaran, Senior Counsellor, CII-IQ was the faculty for this in-house programme which was attended by 80 participants. The programme which was conducted for the chain of schools of Bethany Education Society, Mangalore increased the awareness on quality management principles, tools and techniques amongst the school fraternity. This programme also focused on the fundamental principles of quality, the importance of a vision, various aspects and educational processes.
