Competency Mapping & Assessment - Certification Programme

About 20 HR Professionals from 17 different Companies participated in this certification programme which was conducted by Mr S Deenadayalan, CEO and Architect - Organization Capability and Mr S. Karthikeyan, Business Head - Operations, Centre for Excellence in Organization Pvt. Ltd. And Mr Urs Bernhard - International Management Consultant.
The objective of the programme was to get a thorough understanding of competency based management and its application for better business results leading to availability of internal expertise to initiate, design and drive the competency initiatives.
Executive Program on Metrics and Balanced Scorecard
17-18 March, Bangalore
(Including Interactive Session with Infosys Technologies Ltd on Balanced Scorecard Journey)
17 HR professional from 10 different Companies attended this programme which was conducted by Mr S Deenadayalan and Mr S. Karthikeyan.
The objective of this programme was to help participants understand the conceptual framework of Balanced Score Card model and its importance in the present day competitive business environment besides getting an overview on implementing BSC and building a High Performance Organisation.
Programme on Customs Laws and Procedures
7-8 March, Bangalore
Mr. T.N.C. Rajagopalan, a former manager of State Bank of India, conducted this programme which was attended by 17 foreign Trade Professional from 12 different companies.
The objective of the programme was to appraise the participants about the statutory provisions, departmental circulars and relevant case laws on Customs matters relating to imports and exports and arm the participants with necessary knowledge to deal with the customs authorities confidently so that they could reduce the transaction costs significantly.
Workshop On Enhancing Productivity And Quality Through 3M & 5S
4-5 March, Bangalore
The programme, conducted by Mr. K.R. Shivakumar, Counsellor, TQM was attended by 29 delegates from 12 manufacturing and process industries who were mostly new Trainees, Shop floor supervisors and Engineers.
The programme had a good mix of interesting learning in the form of:
- Visuals in the course material & during the course presentation to facilitate easy understanding of the concepts
- Cross learnings from partcipants by way of presentations on case studies
- Identifying wastes and improvement areas through Video Analysis.
The Course covered the following 3M's and 5S's:
Muda - (Waste)-Detail the classical Seven wastes in production with examples
Mura -(Unevenness) in Shop floor operations
Muri - (Strain) in operations
Seiri, Seiton, Seiso , Seiketsu, & Shitsuke i.e. Sort, Arrange, Clean, Standardize, Self Discipline.
Helpful implementation tips, Charts, check-sheets, Red Tag preparation together with a Roadmap towards being a model 5S Organisation was also covered.
