CII-IQ in collaboration with QCI - Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and ITA conducted 3 Sensitization Programs for Proprieters and Decision Makers of Food Industries across upper and lower Assam in Dibrugarh, Jorhat and Tezpur on 17, 18, 19 March 2008.
The programs were aimed at convincing decision makers to initiate implementation of Food Safety Management Systems based on International and the adopted National standard ISO 22000 in their organisations and sensitise them on the benefits, requirements and a cost effective road map. The programs were attended by about 90 delegates from various and remote locations in Assam.
The last program in this series is to be held in Kolkata, the nerve centre and Headquarters of most medium scale food and beverage industries of the North East during April 2008.
