International Pharma trainers to make
Indian Industry Globally Competitive


Action Plan

Confederation of Indian Industry's (CII) vision by 2020 is not only to position India among the top two countries in the global Pharma/Biotech sector contributing 20% of its economic growth, but also to show-case its Pharma/Bio-tech sector as a global role model for others to emulate.

Consequently, CII Institute of Quality (CII-IQ) has drawn up an ambitious road map to transcend business driven research-to-research driven business. With cGMP plans in the pipeline, the immediate milestone to be crossed is that of focused and tailor made training programmes for the Pharma/Bio-tech Industry within India for enhancement of Knowledge and skills of international level.

CII-IQ in joint alliance with a team of world renowned Specialists and Practitioners with hands-on experience and exposure to FDA, WHO, EPA, OECD and other international standards will conduct such programmes.

Target Beneficiaries

The following personnel are expected to benefit from these programmes: Policy makers, Plant Managers, Production Managers, Clinical Research Managers and Scientists, Production and Quality Control Chemists, Maintenance Executives, R&D Scientists, Quality Assurance Managers, Regulatory Managers, Instrument Engineer, Technical Auditor, Corporate Managers and Risk Management Analysts.

Essential themes covered in the proposed training modules shall include:
Production and Analysis of Quality Products
Awareness and understanding of the global markets
Global competition and trade barriers
Price competition and market penetration
Compliance with the US, EU, Japan etc global regulations.
DMF and Clinical trial studies for the Pharma products
