Workshop on Assessment for Excellence, 19-22 June at CII IQ, Bangalore

The workshop on assessment for excellence was held in Bangalore. The number of participants was 40 from 13 organisations. The faculty comprised Mr S K Kakkar and Mr P Girish. Senior Management Quality Professionals from organisations like MICO, GAIL, Triveni Group of Companies, Infosys, Kirloskar Group, Robert Bosch India, TAFE, Sundaram Clayton and RINL attended this workshop.

Training Module on GD&T, 15-16 June 2007: IHC, New Delhi

CII Institute of Quality (CII-IQ) organized the Training module on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) on 15 - 16 June, 2007 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The objective of the programme was to learn the standard method of interpreting the Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing given in the drawing and how inspection gauges and fixtures has to be designed based on the GD&T given in the drawing. 40 participants from 19 companies took part in the programme.

Lead Auditor Course for FSMS:ISO 22000: 2005, 25 - 29 June, 2007, New Delhi

CII-IQ in association with SGS India Pvt Ltd organized an IRCA registered 5-day Lead Auditor Training for Food Safety Management System: ISO22000: 2005 from 25 - 29 June, 2007 in New Delhi.

The purpose of this training course was to provide food chain professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to audit food safety management systems (FSMS) with a view to assess the adequacy of the design, implementation and improvement of a food industry organization's FSMS against ISO 22000:2005 and in accordance with ISO 19011. The course was designed for experienced food safety professionals with an understanding of the management systems approach to food safety and the skills required for auditing effectively against FSMS. Representatives from organizations like AT Foods, Field Fresh, Hind Agro Ltd., Dossier Solutions & Services Pvt Ltd., Pepsico India Holdings and Nutramen Healthcare Pvt Ltd. attended the programme.

Refresher Training Programme, 2 June, New Delhi

CII Institute of Quality organised a one - day Refresher programme for the trained assessors of the CII EXIM Bank Award for Excellence on 2 June 2007 at the Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi. Around 80 delegates from various organisations like The Tinplate Co of India Ltd, BEL, Bharat Pumps, BHEL, GMR Energy, Mashreq Bank, NTPC etc attended the programme.
