The past few months have seen Yi scale up its presence with the opening of 5 new chapters in 60 days: Raipur, Visakhapatnam, Erode, Goa and Srinagar.

On 12 September, the Young Indians Delhi Chapter under its learning initiatives organised a session on ‘Masters of Supply Chain Management’ by the Mumbai Dabbawala Association, pioneers of supply chain management and effective logistical improvisations especially developed for the Indian conditions. At this session Dr. Pawan G Agarwal, CEO of the Mumbai Dabbawala Association made a presentation on the history of the Mumbai Dabbawalas and their impeccable track record of highest standards of quality and efficiency achieved. Dr Agarwal gave the members a bird’s eye view of the functioning & achievements of the Mumbai Dabbawalas. On 16 September, Yi Delhi organised a Blood Donation Camp at Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park in New Delhi. The camp was organised in association with Indian Red Cross Society and witnessed the participation of donors from all across the city, including employees and clients of Business Centre and people from neighborhood offices. On 25 October Yi Delhi, under its healthcare initiative organised a Health Camp at Munirka Basti, New Delhi. The camp was organised in association with Divyashakti Foundation and Nutrition and Fitness Society. The children of slum dwellers were examined by the two doctors. Dr. Shikha Sharma, Co-Chair, Yi Healthcare distributed de-worming capsule, paracetamol tablets and cough syrups amongst the poor and the needy children. Around 200 children were provided free medicines in this camp.
