My Fellow Young Indians,

It gives me great joy in welcoming members of our new chapters in Srinagar, Vishakhapatnam, Raipur, Erode and Goa. On behalf of all of us I welcome these members into the Yi family and to the Yi way of life!

As you read through this version of the Yi Link you will notice the breadth and depth of our activities. From parliament simulation and interaction with the Chief Election Commissioner for students to engaging young farmers from the north east of our country to the plethora of events and activities that have engaged our membership at the chapter levels, Yi has once again proven that its ability as an organization to bring youth from different walks of life and engage them in the developmental agenda for our country, is not only unique but is also inspiring for many others.

From interaction with young members of parliament such as Ms. Supriya Sule with the Yi Pune chapter members to blood donation and deworming camps organized by Yi Chandigarh to distributing food packets in flood hit regions by Yi Hyderabad we as Young Indians have earnestly carried forward our mission to see a more inclusive and robust India.

The Yi Delhi interaction with Dabbawalas of Mumbai and Yi Indore’s efforts on launching a corporate chapter at Impetus also signifies the role Yi plays in bringing stakeholders from different sections of society on a single platform. Yi Mumbai’s LABs program is an example of how our we can, we will approach is all that it takes to make dreams, a reality on a continued and consistent basis.

My heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for working together to feed more than 10000 people on the world foods day. The joy of giving manifested in satisfying the hunger of so many. For this act I personally salute each and every one of you! You are all an inspiration for so many who want to contribute but don’t know how.

My second visit to Kashmir saw the launch of Yi Srinagar chapter and our interaction with the Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah has given us the confidence and motivation that from the heaven on earth in Kashmir to the god’s own country in Kerala Yi is ready to take on the challenge of ensuring that our generation is shaping the future our country and in the process is also playing its part in reshaping the world order as well.

I am looking forward to the Yi National Summit, the Yi Overseas Mission and the Yi Pathfinder as we continue on this enriching and fulfilling journey.
Together, We Can, We Will.

Warm personal regards,
Bhairavi Jani
